Four-time Earshot Jazz Vocalist of the Year and 2026 Earshot Jazz Hall of Fame inductee Jacqueline Tabor brings a commanding voice, magnetic stage presence, and a storyteller’s instinct to the concert stage. Known as the Seattle Chanteuse, she moves from intimate phrasing to soaring vocals, pairing musical precision with warmth, humor, and an immediate connection with audiences.

A member of the Seattle Repertory Jazz Orchestra, Jacqueline brings years of experience working with large ensembles. Her seven-year artistic collaboration with Dr. Michael Brockman has spanned concert performances and continued musical work through and beyond the pandemic. That experience has strengthened the musical command, preparation, and flexibility she brings to every collaboration.

Now working with SRJO director, pianist, composer, and bandleader Orrin Evans, Jacqueline continues to bring her distinctive voice to the orchestra’s evolving musical life. WHAT A LITTLE MOONLIGHT CAN DO features the marvelous voice of Jacqueline Tabor, who has repeatedly "brought down the house" in many SRJO concerts since her first appearance with the band in 2019.

This piece is a jazz standard composed in 1934 by popular song writer Harry Woods. The arrangement was created by Billy May and recorded by Nancy Wilson on her 1960 album "Something Wonderful."
