So honored to be a part of a powerful collaboration with the amazing Marina Albero, Adriana Giordana, and Chava Mirel. Thank you, Abe Beeson and KNKX for this great article. https://www.knkx.org/post/northwest-musicians-creatively-cope-coronavirus-outbreak Successful musicians often need to be creative hustlers to make a living as artists. With the COVID-19 outbreak leading to increasing concert cancellations, those hustling skills are being put to a serious test. One musician, pianist Marina Albero, is experimenting with a new way for musicians to connect with their audience — virtually.

Albero will host a live streaming concert on Facebook at 7 p.m. this Sunday, March 15, in what she's calling The Quarantine Sessions. This effort was born of distress, Albero says. She had a performance in Seattle canceled last week due to the outbreak. Then, "I had a concert at a medical conference in Barcelona for 2,000 people canceled, that's when the survival instinct started working."

The legendary  Jim Wilke of KNKX broadcast of the Billie Holiday Tribute I had the honor performing is now available on a podcast, iTunes and Spotify

I have had the honor of working with this tremendous orchestra now for the third time and I will say I am proud of this performance and the work it took to create it.

The iconic American singer Billie Holiday is subject to tribute concerts by the Seattle Repertory Jazz Orchestra and guest vocalist Jacqueline Tabor performed at Kirkland performance Center and Benaroya Hall in Seattle.

Social distancing is getting real during the Corona Virus outbreak but the artistic community is coming up with creative ideas for us all to remain connected via live streaming of all sorts of events. You're not alone when you can join friends and even strangers to listen to great music from the comfort of your home. That's why I'd like to invite you all to check out The Quarantine Sessions is an ongoing project lead by womxn you can also check out updates on Facebook at the House of Breaking Glass

I am so honored and humbled by being the recipient again of the Earshot Golden Ear Award for  2019. I was in the field of such an amazing field of musicians. Seattle has been so supported by what I do and how I show up as an artist. This City has been amazing to me and allowed me the space to create, I look forward to the healing and future of my home town.
