Sat, October 5th from 3 to 5 pm at Gard Vintners in Woodinville. I have a confession to make: I love Rose' but I especially love the Rose from Gard Vintners Tasting Room in Woodinville. Cole and I really enjoyed the vibe, the wine and working as a duo, it had been a while and the magic was still there. I wanted to thank Kim Maguire for sitting in and the beautiful staff at Gard and I will be back in 2020
In the month of October, I do not think there could be anything better to do but have some of the best wine, support a local business and listen to Jacqueline Tabor on vocals and the talented Cole Schuster on Guitar. Nestled away in what might be considered a strip mall this gem has eats and free parking: 19151 144th Ave NE, Unit D, no cover and family-friendly. The last time I played this venue it was inviting fun and turned into a listening room. The staff is amazing and the bottles of wine are splendid. I would love to see you all again from 3 to 5 PM at the Gard in Woodinville.
Founded in 2006, Gård Vintners is a family-owned and operated estate winery in the heart of Washington’s Columbia Valley AVA, with vineyards on the Royal Slope, wine production in Walla Walla, and tasting rooms in Woodinville and Ellensburg.
The winery was founded by brothers Sandy and John Lawrence, who has farmed the Royal Slope for more than 50 years, along with John’s son Josh, who joined the operation in 2002. The winery is managed by Josh and his wife, Lisa, who oversees sales and marketing, while Josh oversees the vineyard and other farm and orchard operations.
In 2011 Aryn Morell joined the team as a winemaker, and winemaking is now managed at M&L Production in Walla Walla. Gård, meaning "farm,” is a tribute to our family's Scandinavian heritage and farming tradition.
