It is with great excitement to announce that the Billie Holiday Tribute performed at Benaroya Hall with the legendary Seattle Repertory Jazz Orchestra is up for an Earshot Award for Concert of the year. For those who attended the concert, I thank you and for those who endured the hours of prep, tears, and sweat I thank you as well. I felt like I channeled many ancestors and felt the spirit of Bille Holiday surrounding me and that feeling has never left me. I am a survivor of many things in life and paying honor to Holiday was one of the most healing moments of my life. To be recognized is really enough and extremely humbling and more than I could ever expect. If you would like to cast your vote please go to https://www.earshot.org/project/2021-02-golden-ear-awards-ballot/  voting ends March 1st

Due to some unforeseen issues, I will not be participating in any concerts with the Candlelight Concerts presented by Fever. If you see any of these ads please disregard or report to whatever media they are affiliate with. If you have bought a ticket, I would request a refund immediately. I do apologize for any inconvenience or confusion this has added to your already pandemic and stressful life. And just to clarify, the following dates are now open for booking the Jacqueline Tabor Jazz Band: 7/20, 7/22, 7/27, and 8/10, 8/11, 8/12. The 7th Annual Jackson Street Jazz Walk is a Music-Community-Legacy event! Thanks to our sponsors, there is no charge to attend virtually. I hope you tune in and enjoy 2  days of musical performances that were recorded at the historical Langston Hughes, this location has a rich history in Seattle for supporting Black Arts.
We ask that you instead donate to the Central's Senior Center's Meal Delivery Program in place of admission.
